Voice Description

Projects have ranged from humorous characters to deep, resonate narratives. I've worked the range of audio from voice, music and film productions for a variety of local, regional and national clients.

I would be a consideration for most any project you need a well rounded male voice 25-80 +, trained, easy to work with and flexible. Ask for auditions, I will be more than happy to read for you.

British, Irish, Middle Eastern, Soviet, French, U.S. Dialects that include professional southern, red neck, Eastern Cities, New York, Boston as well as midwestern. I can adapt and or recommend a number of styles, accents and approaches for each project as needed.

My Voice Experience

Since the early 1980's I have worked on and off in recording studios, film sets, production sets, locations and stage work. Roles have included everything from Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Curly in Oklahoma, Captain von Trapp in Sound of Music to an FBI agent in the film, "Illegal Witness". I've worked with major recording artists, advertising agencies, production houses, public relations firms and major brands as a talent, producer and executive. I know how to get things done, provide the right read and output that connects with the target audience without seeming like a performance.

I'm re-entering the market as a talent and producer after spending more than twenty years working with such clients as Wal-Mart, Coke, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, Disney, Major League Baseball, NFL, Holland America and many others.

I'm know for being extremely creative, a great listener and able to produce a great spot.

My Training

Began working in entertainment at a young age that included working on stage and broadcast, music and theater projects. Attended college on voice/music composition scholarships. Studied with Kenneth Smith, Metropolitan Opera, Kraft Music Hall, World Tours. Smith was a master at interpretation, style and technique providing me with the tools and ability to make a living in the music business, earning a reputation for both performance and creating masterful projects.

After finishing college I toured playing concerts featuring a great deal of electronic music across the U.S. In part working as an endorser for music suppliers and developers such as ARP, Roland and others.

Won a number of awards for developing children's programing, content and recordings that have included clients such as Wendy's, McDonald's, Hearst Broadcasting, theme parks and associations. These programs included comedy, music and narration. These programs featured a number of characters, many which I voiced.

Durning this time I also worked on a number of brands, financial services companies, travel, medical and entertainment on local, regional and national spots and campaigns.

Mac based, home office includes Final Cut, Logic Pro and a variety of microphones from AKG 414, Sennhieser 441, Ribbons, etc.

Music production capabilities include Kurtzwiel keyboards, interfaces, vintage sounds, percussion and more.

Earned a solid reputation as an innovator as Vice President of Business Development and Ideation combining experiential, convergent staging with mega brands that included multiple-dimensional consumer communication blending media and retail activation, developing a new brand extension aptly named LIVE!media.

Providing consulting services to advertising agencies, public relations firms allowed for seamlessly participating as a key member management teams while providing services for private clients. Those roles consisted of serving as CC0-Chief Creative Officer/ Senior Strategic Director of a boutique, international public relations firm with offices in Kansas City, Chicago, NY, LA, London, Paris and Hong Kong specializing in high end media relations and creative publicity for Fortune 100 clients to start up brands.

Worked prior to communications career as a producer, musician, performer, actor with recording acts, stage, concert, studio and broadcast. Worked with recording artists, agencies and publishing houses to produce scores, tracks and compositions. Concentration in 2010 has become more technology and new media centric allowing for more robust and convergent strategies, tactics, services, content and delivery.
