Voice Description

Jean-Phillipe has an energetic voice filled with emotion best suited for engaging advertisements and the reading of children's books on tape. As a nine year old, he is open to learning any voice techniques that will allow him to suit the employer's needs. He also likes to play around with creating voices to distinguish different characters that are speaking.

My Voice Experience

From birth Jean-Phillipe has had a finely tuned ear for phonics and taught himself to read by age three. He memorizes the details of what he reads and hears very quickly, and though he's had no formal training, all of his play time includes some form of "broadcasting." On a weekday morning before school you'll find nine year old Jean-Phillipe watching and memorizing a ten minute Weather Channel forecast and then standing in front of the U.S. map in his playroom presenting the weather forecast again. On a weekday afternoon after school, Jean-Phillipe is announcing the play-by-play action of neighborhood pick-up baseball, basketball, or football games. On a Sunday afternoon he'll watch a televised NASCAR race while conducting his own Matchbox car race and continually announcing the track positions of all 43 NASCAR racers and all 43 of his own Matchbox racers.

My Training

Jean-Phillipe is a third grader who reads at a sixth grade level. His only "professional" exerience was getting a tour of our local NBC-10 newsroom and being allowed to conduct his own weather forcast in front of the green screen. Local meteorologist Kelly Bates stated "He sounds more professional than a lot of the adults who send in audition tapes."
