Voice Description

Soft and feminine for narrations, commercials or characters, teen voices. A little throaty, a touch nasally, can do annoying female characters, excellent reader for audio books with character separations, spry and energetic for commercials, narrations and characters.

Good singing ability, can sing jingles, show tunes, etc.

High and squeaky for animal characters, small children and toddlers.

Animals: Birds chirping, cats meowing, purring and hissing, dogs; small yappy dogs, large dogs, barking and howling, duck, goat, gorilla, guinea pig, insects, kittens, monkeys, peacock, pig oinking, pig squealing, seal, sheep bleating, and turkey.

Soft and sexy like Barbie, coarse like an old woman, cackly like a witch, dorky like a dumb blond, high pitched like a small child or toddler skipping their r's, can do Elmo singing "Elmo's World", Woody Woodpeckers laugh, Goofy's laugh, small animal characters, professional characters like newscasters, secretaries or voices in recorded telephone messages, harsh voice like a biker chick, California accent like surfer girl, slow and tired like a sloth or turtle, can do female robot voice, old man coughing, motorcycle, snoring sounds, kissing sounds, panting gasping for breath sounds, drowning or gurgling, can speak and read very fast, act drunk or speech impaired, and talk with a lisp.

My Voice Experience

No previous voice over experience. Looking for a career change due to recent disabilities that prevent me from working in fields where physical strength and everyday walking or standing is necessary.

Former school volunteer and substitute teacher. I entertained children with silly voices and impressions, and was often asked to read books to children due to excellent reading skills with voice influxes and character separations.

No previous recordings made but can produce a demo tape on demand which includes all voices listed above.

Certificate from Pima Medical Institute as a Physical Therapy Technician, 17 credit hours at University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus. Was studying to be a teacher, but had to give it up due to recent disabilities.

Have some music training that I gained in nine years of elementary and high school. I can sing, play clarinet, Baritone horn, and read music.

Have done several church and school plays.

Additional Skills

I am easy going, fun, silly, imaginative, easily entertained, love to laugh, good at following instructions and energetic. I am helpful, friendly, courteous kind, trustworthy, loyal, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent(most of the time). I have worked with the public as a school volunteer and substitute teacher, Cub Scouts for 10 years, waitress, and car hop for a local family dairy.

I have worked as an office assistant, and am proficient in Microsoft word and Quickbooks and can type approximately 55 words per minute. I have excellent writing and grammar skills. I taught 7th grade English for 5 weeks as a long term sub while a permanent teacher was being sought, and worked 5 weeks as a long term sub in a Challenge program for problem middle school students where I helped with classwork and presented drug awareness classes. I worked an entire school year as a kindergarten assistant.

I grew up on a small family farm and have knowledge of animal care, feeding and butchering. I have knowledge of gardening and irrigation.

I have some music training that I gained in nine years of elementary and high school. I can sing, play clarinet, Baritone horn, and read music. I was also a flag girl in a high school marching band.

I coached an AYSO soccer team for two seasons. I would have done it indefinitely had it not been for a slipped disk. I played baseball and softball for 7 years, put four children through Karate classes, was a soccer mom, tennis mom, dance mom, track mom and football mom to my teenage daughter who played first string defensive tackle.

I have written many 45 minute programs for my church for the children to perform for their parents, many of them were in rhyming format. (Dr. Seuss style)

All I need is a chair, a script and a microphone and I can create a wonderful, imaginative experience for any age group.
