My voice changes with my environment - whether I'm doing something fun or serious, silly or sincere, I go with the flow. I've been told I sound young, I've been told I sound mature. But whatever the opinion, I am always willing to try new things, new characters, or new ways to tell stories.
I enjoy informative material that is serious, but have fun with adding the sultry or zany. I will be smooth and professional if needed or throw in adrenalin if reading something exciting :)

If being over the top, I can be theatrically french or italian accented, and with some struggle chinese. (In real life I speak mandarin somewhat decently). Lastly, I can throw in a little bostonian in there as a salute to my hometown. :)

My Training

I learned voice over through independent film and theater projects, and just recorded for friends working on projects. However I learned more formally later with Dan Levine and the Such-A-Voice team. I attended their master class and got hooked into the world of voice overs!

Additional Skills

Officially, my background is in Biology/Environmental Studies, Animal Sciences, and Studio Art; however, life includes dragon boating (race canoeing/outriggering), martial arts, and film and theater onto my list of passions as well.
I am comfortable in a scientific and naturalist environment as much as an artistic and theatrical one. I've lived in several different countries growing up and have grown affection for many cultures, but keep sentimental attachment to American culture (be it pop culture or rural lifestyles) at the same time.
I have a sincere interest in many things and I believe that's what comes across when I work on my projects.
