Voice Description

I am an Irish native, born and raised in Dublin,Ireland.
I spent 20 years in London, England and therefore my voice can be British, or Irish. My voice is more sophisticated, warm, cultered, can be very "British" (but, of course, Irish brogue when needed!)
I have had formal voiceover training and am very comfortable in a studio. I am also a "Rolling Reader" for a school in my area, where I read descriptive books to my class. As I also have a drama background, I enjoy reading aloud, using a variety of voices as called upon. I have just finished reading "The Witches" by British author, Roald Dahl, which called for many wonderful different voices.
Though I have had my voiceover training, I have not pursued this career until now, having been busy with my Real Estate career. I do not have a home studio, but am prepared to travel to studio anywhere in San Diego County or, if worthwhile, to L.A. and Orange County.

I was educated in Ireland, and have college degree.
I was in drama classes at that time, and have had stage experience. In San Diego, I have taken voiceover classes with Beverly Bremers, and done some "follow-up" classes. I was accepted by Artist Management Agency in San Diego, but have no contract there.

I have been a very successful real estate agent for 27 years in San Diego County. One of the reasons for my success has been my VOICE! People remember me for my voice and always remark on it - saying they could never forget me. One client remarked it was like "liquid gold". It was for that reason alone that I decided to explore the voiceover business! People I meet, to this day, say "I love your voice". I can hardly go one day, be it in a store or on the street, without someone remarking on it!! I still have clients who call me after years, wanting to refer my services! Because of this, I haven't had much time for any other career, and though I am still working in this business, (and enjoy it very much), I thought I would like to take the opportunity to further delve into the voiceover busisness, as I had spent considerable time in classes and doing my demo recording.
