Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

English accents and dialects of all kinds. Impersonate and mimic an enormous variety of character and announcer voicing, from Daffy Duck to Jack Nicholson, to a gazillion versions of myself. My range of abilities are simply too large to list. My vocal range covers just about any requirements.director’s dream, as I can produce subtle tweaks, on the spot.

My Voice Experience

When I was a young teenager, I won two national comedy contests…based on my natural comedic talent, and my impersonation skills. The story of one of these was picked up by my local paper at the time in Asheville NC, (based on a press release by Nestle Corp.) and and article was written about “Local Teen Makes Good”. From this article, and other press releases, two large audio production companies learned about my vocal skills… and my VO career was launched. For over fifteen years now I have voices thousands of commercials and other reads. My clients have ranged from Verizon Wireless and McDonalds to books on tape, TV documentaries, and Video Game voices. The usual call is for versions of my “normal” voice (be it hard sell Gen X extreme or basic announcer, to a host of character voices including both impersonations and invented characters. To date, I have probably voiced over 5000 gigs.

My Training

ProComm Studios (Ashveille) VO training intership. Personal mentoring by Tom Cassidy, owner SunSpots Productions. Most importantly though, my abilities are natural and inborn, and have been honed by fifteen years of VO experience, in-the-saddle so to speak. I know from countless feedback that a finished VO session requires fewer takes than normal, as I am able to quickly respond to direction, and deliver.
