Voice Description

I am an actor, a singer, and I've been a radio DJ and announcer, so I can provide many possibilities when you are looking for that "just right" voice talent.

I can be warm, friendly, and enthusiastic when you want customers to look into your product or service through radio and TV ads.
I can be loud and obnoxious when you're inviting your rowdy friends to a monster truck rally.

Hubert is the uptight, older and serious guy who talks through his teeth and looks at you down his nose. "Well, HMPH! We'll just see about THAT!"

Art is the enthusiastic Australian who can talk runway fashion or runaway fuel injection.

My Voice Experience

THOUSANDS OF RECORDINGS!

I had to think about that for a moment, but it's quite true. Since 1994 I've recorded several voiceovers just about every week in the 15 years employed as a video producer. I've done several voiceovers for Allstate Insurance, O'Charleys Restaurant, Comcast, Hibbett Sports, and Wells Fargo.

Most of my voiceovers have been used for television advertising, however, NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center has had a few awards dinners where my voice could be heard on tribute videos. One of those honored Space Shuttle Astronaut Jan Davis. I've also voiced presentations for our Chamber of Commerce, including awards dinners and acceptance videos.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" begins with a beautiful prologue that has been slightly rewritten for the stage version. I had the pleasure of voicing that for a local production...I'm waiting for Broadway to call!

My Training

My voice coaches include the talents of Susan Berkley and Moneen Daly Harte. I've been trained through Susan Berkley's Voice Over Bootcamp and Ultimate Voiceover Success Program.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Film and another in Commercial Music (otherwise known as the music business). These courses of study took me through many classes centered on music, acting, communication, speech, voice and diction, media production, technical theater and more. Every day on the job as a video producer continues to help me learn more technical and communication skill. I will never stop learning!

My studio is equiped with:
MXL-909 Large diaphragm studio condenser. It's my favorite in the collection. I edit with Soundtrack Pro and Audacity.
