I have been the primary voice for an engineering company called National Instruments since 2007. Most of this work has been in doing voice overs for external marketing videos as well as internal fun videos. I have also done a commercial for a Texas grocery store called HEB in which my family was featured. In addition to this, I was one of the principle actors in a TV show about my family that aired in 2010 on TLC called Texas Quints. In this show, I did a rap for one of the promo videos.
My background was initially technical but I have been in a variety of productions for the last 10 years. Since 2006, I have worked as the manager of video production at National Instruments and I do the primary voice over work there. I also received training from Renee Beale Voice Overs in Austin and have studied voice acting for a number of years. I also have done vocal performances with an 80's cover band and have recorded several humorous raps about my family on YouTube.
I have a studio in my house that I can use to record. I have a 24 bit H4n and a Rode NT2-A condenser microphone along with Adobe Audition software. I run audio gear professionally as part of my job since 2006.
I am an experienced copy writer and am available to help write and evaluate scripts. In particular, I have experience with technical topics and am experienced at writing scripts that make technical topics more approachable.
