I have a very strong comforting voice for narrations and commercials yet I can do many changes in my voice to attain just the right style for any voice over. I can do different dialects and be funny. I have been asked to do commercials for Banks,Funeral Homes and Car Dealerships. I also wrote, produced and voiced a whole series take off on the Lone Ranger and Tono for a photo developing store.

I do a great Mexican which I did for a Mexican Chain a few years ago. I also do Irish, Scottish and English and Austrialian and even Canadian.

My Voice Experience

I have been doing commercials and voice over work for many radio stations and TV since 1980. I have had work aired in the Midwest and Southern parts of the US. I have been mostly working as Operations Manager and Production DIrector at many stations in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota so I have spent much time doing work for them, yet I was asked to do work for others as well on the side. I have written, producted and voiced many commercials some that have been nominated or won awards in North Dakota and Minnesota. I left full time radio work and am now seeking to do just voiceover work! I offer a fresh new voice, with many strong options. I know and understand this business. I have even done dubbing and editing work for advertising agencies who have heard my work!

My Training

I am a graduate of Brown Inst. in Minnespolis. Also I attended the University of South Dakota majoring in Mass Communications. I also spent a year at the North Dakota College of Science majoring in electronics. I have atteneded may RAB Idearamas and also worked with The John Williams Sales courses in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have also been a member of the Nations Sportscasters and Sportwriters Assn. as well as NDBA, SDBA and MBA. I directed and performed for a group called Gospel Theater where we put on a 12 act 2 1/2 hour performance of 'The Passion of Christ.'

My Studio Equipment

I am using an Alesis 12 channel Multi mix board with an Audio-Technica AT2020 Microphone. I also have hooked to this a Tascam MDCD1 Dual Well CD player and Minidisc Recorder. I have built and designed Control Rooms and Recording studios for 5 radio stations in ND and Minnesota and I am also presently designing a studio for a freind starting a radio station in Lagos, Nigeria.

Additional Skills

I spent 25 years doing Sports Play-by-Play which I loved. My son and I love to Hunt and Fish. I also enjoy Cooking and managed my own restaurant for a while. I am presntly the voice of Catholic Radio Station KVXR in Moorhead, Minnesota. I am strong in my faith and love to do any work that help promote all faiths.
