Voice Description
I am British but spent many years in Australia and the United States, so my natural accent is influenced by all three - in that order - with British as the most prominent.
I have been told repeatedly that I have a "great" voice - very distinguished, very sexy. People are always drawn to it and comment on it - especially my phone voice.
I would describe my voice as a middle class British accent that fascinates the listener due to it's uniqueness. It is clean, smooth, calm, intelligent, professional, warm & sexy. it works well for anything from business presentations to voice overs for documentaries, commercials and various narrations.

I can speak in a British accent, with an Australian "twang", and with a slight American accent. My British range can vary slightly from being lower class, "Cockney" to both middle and upper class British. It naturally falls in the middle.
My Voice Experience
In the 80's I traveled the world extensively, lecturing on the topic of self-discovery to both individuals as well as groups & public audiences. I traveled throughout Europe, Australia & Malaysia. This was where I first developed my "speaking" and "voice" skills.
I ended up marrying an Australian filmmaker/surfer dude and we both worked in "the TV biz" awhile before we decided to start our own production company.
We hired talent & crew for various documentaries & television specials that we produced. Sometimes we would hire ourselves! Why not.. saved the budget and was often the best choice...
I was occasionally called upon to be a model, online presenter or voice over for various projects. That continued into the 90's when we relocated to Los Angeles and worked for a local company that produced educational documentaries & hosted the A/V for live events worldwide.
My Training
My training & education specifically in voice overs is mostly based on experience. However, over the years I have attended various courses to further my education in the industry including:
Public Speaking.
Research for film/television at Melbourne AFTRS, Australia.
Make-up for film/television at the Flagstaff College, Melbourne, Australia.
Editing & Directing at Moorpark College, California.
Experience in script typing & editing for film/television. Also as a Production Manager, Production Coordinator, in continuity, wardrobe, props & talent scout.
I also have marketing & advertising experience.

I am interested in a healthy life and have worked in the health field. I transitioned from working in video production to owning a health clinic in L.A. This involved becoming certified as a thermographic technician (C.T.T.) and photographing patients utilizing digital infrared technology.
I have experience with real estate investing including quickturn, short sales, and property management as a landlord. I also worked as a relocation counselor.
