My voice career started by doing news casts on a local AM radio station in between my regular shifts as a transmitter engineer. After serving my stint in the US Army, I moved on to the big city where I worked as a production engineer for a public radio station. In addition to learning to appreciate the nuances of voicing for broadcast, and the technical requirements needed, I also produced programs, voice tracked classical music programs and did on-air fund raising pitching.
Forty years of working in radio as a production engineer, talent coach, newscaster, occasional on air guest, and program producer as well as a popular music program host.
