Deep and confident, my voice reflects my upbringing. Raised throughout the eastern US, I have no native accent. Most closely identified with an upper midwestern dialect, but lacking the specific intonations of any geographical region, my natural voice allows the content to be delivered without any thought being paid to the delivery. I also possess a classic radio voice, perfect for reading general copy or delivering data in a clear, engaging manner. Where my voice shines, however, is in a conversational capacity. With a sincere, engaging manner and pleasing fullness, my voice draws immediate attention, and holds the listener with it's controled, dynamic range.

My Voice Experience
"You should be on the radio." People have been telling me that for as long as I can remember. With a formal education in communications and over seven years of professional experience in the business world, I have had numerous opportunities to utilize my natural vocal talent. Most significantly, I became the voice of a rapidly-growing staffing company, performing both live and pre-recorded radio ads for various markets around the eastern US, including Nashville, Memphis, Columbus, and Northern Virginia. More recently, I had the opportunity to lend my voice to a series of educational videos being produced to teach English to foreign students. This involved reading pre-scripted material as well as developing my own copy.
My Training
My formal education consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. While not specifically geared toward voice-over work, it has provided me with a comprehensive foundation in both interpersonal communication theory and practice, as well as media concepts and philosophy.
