My Voice Experience
I started directing voice actors almost five years ago when I took a position as audio director for a video game company in NYC. The game we were working on at the time was very character driven and required a lot talented voice actors. I successfully cast and directed that game, and then another one and another and before I knew it I had acquired an extensive roster of NYC's finest legit and non-union actors in the voice community. Before too long I realized I didn't want to confine my talent pool to video games exclusively. That's when I branched out and started offering my recording services for all forms of media.
In addition to a number of video games, we've provided voice talent for new media projects, websites, film and television.
My actors are professionals who work on and off Broadway, create amazing characters in animated as well as live action film and television, do stand-up comedy and commercials.
My Training
Prior to my four years with the video game company that started this business, I was a record producer/mixer/recorder for the better part of a decade. All told I've been working in professional audio in and out of studios for over twenty years, so needless to say I have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of sound.
in addition to my VO and musical experience I often work on production as well as post-production sound crews for film and television. I do re-record mixing, sound design and dialogue editing as well as location mixing and boom operation.
My Studio Equipment
We have beautiful mics from Neumann, Lawson, Sennheiser, Audio Technica and Shure; a Focusrite ISA220 mic pre/compressor and we use Pro Tools, Nuendo, Izotope and Audition for our workstation.
Additional Skills
In addition to recording, casting and directing, we are also capable of extensive dialogue editing, mastering, implementation (for video games) and creative sound design.
