My Voice Experience

Back in high school I answered phones for Coast 1040’s Marine Show, the show was canceled after 3 weeks and just one phone call.


In 1995, I enrolled in the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Radio Broadcast Full time program.
I received an award for Outstanding Producer

In 1996, I was a board operator at Z95.3 responsible for the airing of live and recorded shows

In 1996, I left Z95.3 and co-opted out of BCIT for full time work as a Junior Producer at 97 Kiss FM, News 1130, and Mountain FM. After 4 months I was promoted to a Senior Producer


In 2000, Rogers flipped the valley station to an Alternative Rock Station.I was the Imaging Producer for 1049 Xfm


In 2002, I got an offer for a Management position in the Production Department at the Beat 94.5

In 2004, I went travelling around Southeast Asia for almost 9 months

In late 2004, I started freelance producing from a small home studio. From CKIQ in Nunavut to Hot 104.1 FM in the Cayman Islands and all holes in between


In 2005, I was offered a 3 Days a week part-time Production with CHUM Broadcasting Ltd. Vancouver which soon turned into a full time Producer position.

I produce commercials and station elements for The Beat 94.5, 103.5 QMFM, 1410 CFUN, and Team 1040


BCIT Night School part time instructor of the Radio and Television Announcing class where we cover the fundamentals of commercial voicing, reading news, voiceovers, breathing etc…

I was a bandie in high school

I sang in several different choirs, concert choir, chamber choir, vocal jazz ensemble, men’s choir

I sang lead in 2 crappie bands, public performances and all



I have working experience with many digital workstations such as Protools, Adobe Audition/ Cool Edits, Sound Forge, Vegas Pro, Soundscape, Acid Pro, Saw Plus, Triple Dat A,and the AKG DSE 7000. I can sit down and work from any of these programs.
