My Voice Experience

You can hear my current work at www.pendantaudio.com, on select episodes of the show "Seminar" and soon on "Star Trek: Defiant," as well as the weekly news podcast at reporterherald.com.
This most recent work follows a gap of about 11 years working in the newspaper business and not necessarily using my voice as a primary work tool. Before that I worked as a news anchor for the 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts for an ABC-TV affilate in Nebraska early in my career. This was after TV and radio work in college and lots of acting in high school. Add to that teenage experience as a highly successful telemarketing salesman, and you have a voice actor with proven value.

My Training

I am an award-winning, veteran print journalist, both as a writer and designer, with a Bachelor's Degree (magna cum laude) in English: Journalism.
As a student I interned with a television station and landed a job as the 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. lead news anchor, but chose to leave that position to pursue my blossoming print-reporting career.
Working in TV and radio, and more recently as a podcaster, I am quite familiar audio and video recording and editing.
