My Voice Experience

I started my voice talent career in 1990 as a radio broadcaster. I worked in radio for around 3 years. During those years in radio I focused on production and on-air. I moved on to the mobile DJ world, where I still spend most of my time. I built a studio in my home mainly to produce my electronica podcast called The BASSment Podcast(check it out on itunes). I am a part time voice talent, focusing on a little bit of everything, including podcasts, onhold messages, voicemail, commercials, and more. I am obsessed with recording almost anything...from my voice, to Grateful Dead concerts, to waterfalls, to pretty much anything that produces sound. I will work as long as it takes to make my clients happy.

My Training

I attended and graduated Columbia School of Broadcasting. I worked in radio for 3 years, WZZY Winchester, IN, WXKE Rock 104 Fort Wayne, IN. I have been a mobile DJ for 13 years. Currently produce electronica music under the alias DJ Jaf, and produce a monthly electronica podcast called The BASSment Podcast. Podcasting is one of my latest interests. I love podcasts because basically they are a radio show, without all the negatives of working at a radio station. It is facinating to me how the recording industry never gets stale. Recording voice overs is a natural progression of the path of my career and hobbies.
