My Voice Experience

As a copywriter/creative director for almost 15 years, I've written and produced hundreds of TV and radio spots. When the budgets were good, I got to work with some of the best voice talent out there. When the budgets were non-existent, I had to step in the booth myself and get the job done. Necessity is the mother of my voice. Along with my actual mother, of course.

My Training

Directing voice talent for almost 15 years, as well as acting as the talent myself on more than a few occasions, has given me great perspective on what makes a great VO artist. I'm not saying I'm great, but I'm close. And I *am* great at getting a read to sound natural in just a take or two.

Running Digital Performer 5.1 through a MOTU 828MkII interface.

As a copywriter by trade, I can write a spot or campaign if need be. Or I can offer edits if a script needs to be cut down for time. Or I can punch up a joke. Or I can read the script and keep my opinions to myself.
