My Voice Experience

My primary experience in voice is that I'm a singer/songwriter who has been composing and performing my own songs for the past 7 years. During this time I've had personal vocal training and I have sang in choirs.

Where singing is my primary vocal experience to date, I would like to branch out and offer my very versatile voice to the speaking industry. I am known to all around me for being able to, at the drop of a hat, effortlessly slip into a huge variety of vocal personas. Combined with a rich and clear voice, I have a strong offering for whatever you're looking for. I'm fluent in Spanish and French from living two different years abroad in Mexico and France. I have an ear for language and dialect.

Additional Skills

In my late-teens early-twenties I became very passionate about learning foreign language; they say that singers are better foreign speakers and in my case they were right. I found that I had a special ability to recreate intricate details about specific dialects. (i.e. Mexican Spanish, French from Northern France) It often surprised native speakers and that brought me a lot of satisfaction.

In beginning to experiment with different vocal personas for my own enjoyment, I noticed that the same skill applied to dialects in English. I find myself very passionate about perfecting the recreation of authentic sounds, often repeating one phrase as much as 100 times in order to condition my muscles for speech at a natural pace. Now living in LA and seeing a demand for voice talent I want to offer my abilities to the industry.

I'm an easy-going person and I like to maintain a fun but productive work environment. I understand that as a vocal talent, I will be servicing a client. I want to be flexible and work together in order to realize the client's vision and fulfill their needs.
