My Voice Experience

Jason Douglas started acting at the age of eight with a Radio Shack tape recorder, a wild imagination, and too much unsupervised playtime. 'My friends and I used to improvise action and sci-fi adventures on tape with KISS records playing in the background as our soundtrack,' he admits.

Originally from rural Arkansas, Jason eventually settled in Houston, Texas, and attended the University of Houston School of Theatre, where he studied with distinguished faculty members Jose Quintero and Edward Albee. Throughout the 1990s, Jason was actively involved in the vibrant Houston theatre scene, and in 1997, attracted the attention of what would become the largest distributor of Japanese Anime in North America, ADV Films.

Jason's now prolific career (100+ titles) as an anime voice-actor became the springboard for work in the commercial, industrial, and video game fields. Clients have included Subway, Shell, Continental Airlines, K&G Men's Stores, BMC Software, Houston Chronicle, ESPN, Halliburton, RUUD, Funimation, Ion Storm, Landry's Restaurants, Time-Warner Cable, and more.
