In addition to my voice over work, I have been a professional video editor for years. While editing a piece on the state of health care, I was tasked with recording my voice as the scratch track. After sending the client my rough cut she immediately thanked me for taking the effort to hire the voice over talent, not realizing the voice included was my own. Flattered, I explained my voice was only temporary and that I would be replacing it. She refused, explaining that my voice was exactly what she was looking for with this particular video and so it remained.
Through similar instances, my voice has found it's way onto a number of different finished projects, ranging from corporate narration to college promos to wacky infomercials.
I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a major in Film. Since graduation, I've been professionally editing corporate and commercial videos for a number of different clients. In addition, I am also the co-founder of an active, thriving production company.
During an improv comedy course, the instructor suggested I give voice over a shot and that is how I came to meet with my voice coach, Peter Rofe. Through his course and subsequent training, I have honed my vocal talent to where I am today.
It is this marriage of my professional video and audio production skills with my trained vocal ability that I bring to any new project.
I own and maintain my own personal Pro Tools studio, which includes:
DigiDesign MBox
Samson C01 XLR Studio Condenser
Avid Media Composer 5 Suite
Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium
I'm only a short train ride away from New York City, so in addition to my New Jersey-based studio, I'm capable of traveling anywhere within the NJ/NYC area if the project requires it.
