My Voice Experience
I am known as the VOG, "Voice of God" for the annual Trey Whitfield Foundation Awards Banquet in new York. The title as VOG was given to me by Pam Oliver, who is a game-day announcer for Fox NFL, as she felt I was the only one capable of delivering a wonderful sound to make the event spectacular. Coming from a woman who has been in the business doing numerous voiceovers, and interviews with top-notch football athletes, is a wonderful compliment. She is one of the hosts for the banquet, and I am the voice who welcomes the guests and introduces the hosts. With that I engage in multiple voiceovers of each award recipient, as they make their way to the podium for pictures and give their acceptance speeches.
I enjoyed delivering my voice live as a Disc-Jockey when I was in college. I used to host a show called the "Sunday Night Love Flight" that aired 10pm to 2 am. Needless to say that my voice got deeper and deeper as it got later and later throughout the night. As DJ "Lady J", I was digging in the crates (with my co-host), playing slow jams and putting the listeners at ease with a low mellow voice, before they were approached with the Monday rush.
My Training
I have never had any voice training, but was encouraged to use my voice as a radio disc jockey. It was something that I enjoyed and felt that I could use my voice in other factors.
Despite my 4'11 stature, my voice packs a powerful heightened sound that I wish to put to great use.

Additional Skills
I have extensive experience working in sports and athletics, mainly in communications/media relations. I have been responsible of preparing my athletes with interviews and public appearances. So I am aware of the importance of what it means to put forth great delivery and communicating proficiently.
This season I was responsible of delivering the welcome to an audience as well as participating athletes and coaches for a major tennis tournament that I helped to host. At the last minute our original announcer could not attend, so I was asked to fill-in, with the directors knowing that I have experience as an announcer for an awards banquet that serve as the co-event coordinator.
