Voice Description

My voice is natural & very deep, makes an impact and can range between calm and soothing to what some would call a "High Energy Announcer’s Voice." My voice and range are accentuated by my ability to properly pronounce the words I’m reading, without sounding like I’m reading, even when the pace of articulation is increased dramatically. I have a comfortable and professional presentation voice that can also be profound and informative for narration and public speaking.

My Voice Experience

Thus far, my experience is limited to high energy dissertations for commercials like NASCAR and Cingular Wireless. However, these experiences have provided me with a high degree of confidence in my voice, my command of the English language and my ability to properly articulate even the most complex words and terminology smoothly and effectively. While my voice is distinctly my own, the range, depth, clarity, tone and inflection exhibited by my voice is of the same quality and caliber as voices like that of James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman. I believe my voice would fall somewhere between the ranges exhibited by these two extraordinarily gifted talents.

My Training

I have had no voice training whatsoever. The only true direction I have had regarding my voice has come from the producers I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with during the production of several radio commercials. While I have been investigating the possible sources for training in my locality, limited resources have prevented me from pursuing actual training.
