Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Irish, English, Scottish, Southern, Getto, I am good at listening to many accents or characters and changing my voice to sound like that same accent or character. Someone throws something at me to try, I usually get it right away. I also make up voices from time to time.

My Voice Experience

I have been away from voice overs for a few years. I did work for Comcast (Andy Hill and Steve Hester) when I first started out and made a few radio and TV spots for Whyeck and Hess also. Most of the spots were for local stores. I did a couple of spots with Tony Abruzzo who has been a voice over for many years.

I made an audio book 'RIKI TIKI TAVI".

I am a professional vocalist and have been singing for over 30 years. I have always thrown in voice overs during the shows and have loved every minute of it.

I am a three time cancer survivor and my voice is stronger now than ever. I am singing again for great audiences and would like to have the opportunity to do voice overs again. I need someone to give me the chance to prove what I can do. I won't disappoint.

My Training

I am not professionally trained, but rather born with the God given gift of voice.

Many years ago Mr.Ron Rose told me that I am blessed with a wonderful talent even though I don't have the degree. I was asked throughout the years, several times, to join Spec Howard but I was so busy performing that I didn't have the spare time for classes. Mr. Rose told me that I would have a difficult time getting into this field because of not having a degree, but I shouldn't give up because of my talent. Thanks to the great gentlemen at Comcast-they gave me my break.

I know there are many great voice over artists and I would be honored to be included among them. I take direction very carefully.

My Studio Equipment

I am truly sorry, but the only equipment I have is a PA System along with many stereo units. I can sometimes record only through a computer.

I am honestly not knowledgeable about equipment as I have always had a sound man taking care of that end of it. I just provide the talent.

Additional Skills

I have a great love of people and music. I also love nature and animals. I was going to study to become a doctor but ended up becoming an entertainer. Right now my partner and I are entertaining for the seniors across Michigan. What a wonderful experience this is. I am in the audience 90% of the time where ever I perform as I feel it is most important to bring your audience into what you are doing and making them a part of it. To bring joy to someone that maybe no one really cares about is the most rewarding aspect of this job. I love what I do.

I have made an audio book 'RIKI TIKI TAVI"-modeled for awhile many years ago after graduation-write lyrics to beautiful music with three copyrights and some air play along the way.

I do not belong to any unions at this time, but would consider doing so if necessary.

I love my family and of course God. I have been blessed in so many ways and have had actual miracles in my life.

Every day is important to me. I will give nothing but my very best work. And I want to thank you for the opportunity of sharing a bit of myself with you.
