Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Neutral RP, various South Wales dialects, General American, Yorkshire, Estuary (UK), and am very quick at learning different accents and dialects. I am working with a dialect coach regularly to expand my range.

I have an extremely versatile voice which easily adapts to many different styles and tones and which is therefore very useful for voicing multiple characters in cartoons, video games, etc.

Trained as an actress at De Leon Drama School in London, also attended The Actors Centre for regular voice workshops, and RADA Summer School.

I currently regularly work with a dialect coach perfecting different accents.

Additional Skills

I'm a good sight reader, and can easily read a few lines ahead to get the sense of a paragraph or phrase. Since drama school (many years ago when it was drummed into me!) I do daily voice warm ups and articulation exercises. This enables me to voice either short 30 second reads or long audio book reads with ease and without too much stumbling over words!

I'm a trained actress and feel I can give a good interpretation of a read, with the right amount of expression. I take direction very well when voicing "live" in a studio or over ISDN in my own studio.

When self-recording without client input, I am a perfectionist and will never send work over until I am absolutely satisfied it's the best I can do. If asked to do short 30 second commercials, I will always send two or three reads to choose from, unless specifically asked not to.
