I am from the US, African American, originally from Chicago, Illinois and can speak authentically from that experience and those locations. I lived in New York City for 11 years in West Indian neighborhoods and can perform that accent. I have lived in Atlanta, GA since 1998, and speak 'Black Southern.' A graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, I do exceptional character work and narrative texts. My specialties are audiobooks and ELearning. In the former I have recorded more than 250 books. My title "The Wedding Date" received an Earphones Award, and was an Audie award finalist. Voice of Freedom was also an Audie Finalist. In the area of learning, I bring your printed words to life through engaging, conversational, professional voiceovers. She is a trained theatre technician and can handle power tools and is excellent at project management. Janina has performance experience as an actor, dancer and singer. She is an amateur violinist, and a kirtan wallah. She is a certified yoga instructor and teaches regularly in Atlanta, GA.
