My voice has been described as warm, clear, friendly, sexy, fresh, persuasive and flexible. Mostly employers use me for my natural voice. It is an impeccable RP voice and can be tuned up to upper class or down to cockney depending on what is required. I can adapt my voice depending on the type of recording - for commercials my voice is approachable, accessible and fun, for narration - powerful, clear, compelling, for presentations - professional and businesslike. I am an excellent sight reader who takes direction well and can adapt to a producer's needs quickly and efficiently. I am an unflappable professional with a great sense of humour. My Voice Experience

My experience covers a multitude - commercials, talking books, documentaries, foreign language (I speak fluent Italian), animation, presentations, talking news for the blind, promos...I have worked for many advertising agencies including TBWA, Saatchi and Saatchi, McCann Erickson. I have played leading roles in dramas for BBC radio 4 and independent radio and my voice has been heard several times on "Poetry Please!" I am also a very good singer - with a strong soprano voice. I have a good ear for accents - Irish (on account of being educated by Irish nuns), Welsh, London, Scottish, American, Australian. My voice has also been used for animal sounds, screaming, aliens - you name it and I'll deliver.

My Training

I am a trained actress. I hold a Masters Degree in Performance from Central School of Speech and Drama. I sing and play the piano (Grade 6 standard), have a good ear and I train my voice regularly with voice classes and singing lessons. I have done many voice classes at college (Central), The Actors Centre and The Actors Institute. I also teach voice to undergraduates and adults.

None at home but do have access to a studio.

Additional Skills

As an actress, my work spans film, television, theatre and radio. This year I have played leading roles in 2 feature films. I have worked in business as a consultant and done presentations, role play and change management work. I have worked in schools, hospitals and hospices leading drama workshops. I sing and play the piano. I write and have had work published. I am trained in Indian Head Massage and can offer a fantastic massage to relax you and take the edge off a stressful day at work - I am popular on set and in the studio with this skill!

I have directed theatre and when I have also worked as a choreographer.
