Joseph Andrade possess a skill that very few have: the ability to do voice overs in both English and Spanish with a neutral tone, which means no discernible accent.

Joseph has a deep, warm, sincere baritone voice. He does not have just one specialty as he is extremely versatile and can do a conversational, sincere, soft sell, kind of like the guy next door. Also, a romantic, sensual or sophisticated type of read. However if a strong powerful strong sell is needed that is also one of his many attributes, such as authoritative, confident, energetic, and convincing.

Joseph can also do very dramatic reads, such as a television or movie promotional announcement.

Joseph is very easy to work with, as he has extensive experience on both sides of the glass. He can be easily coached and directed and will not take up a lot of time during sessions. Mr. Andrade has done many voice overs and portrayed many emotions, to get the best possible result.

One of Joseph's proudest accomplishments is to have won numerous New Mexico Advertising Federation, and regional Addy Awards as both talent and producer in English and Spanish.

Rough, raspy old west type. Also, if a Hispanic flair, or feel is needed ala Antonio Banderas, either a hint of Spanish accent or a heavy Spanish accent, Joseph can do that as well.

My Voice Experience

Joseph Andrade have been recording radio and TV commercials since the age of 5! His father was a radio announcer for 40+ years so you can say Joseph was raised part time in a recording studio. He was on the air at the age of 13 doing a radio show, and progressed in the business all the way to general management. Joseph has recorded literally thousands of commercials in both English and Spanish for many companies and corporations. He has been the voice of the City of Santa Fe, the New Mexico Lottery, Public Service Company of New Mexico, Isleta Casino and Resort, D.R. Horton Homes, Bob Turner's Ford Country, Reliable Chevrolet, and many others in both languages. He has also voiced several documentaries, most notably a program on the ancient Catholic churches in northern New Mexico that was featured on PBS nationally several evenings, and is repeated regionally every Christmas. Joseph has also appeared in approximately 50 stage and radio plays, portraying such varied characters as Iago in Othello, to the Father in "Six Characters in Search of an Author". He has also participated in numerous TV and feature films, such as Sparks: The Price of Passion, Young Guns, and Speechless, to name a few. Again, he is the recipient of several Addy Awards for work in both languages.

My Training

Joseph Andrade learned about proper inflection, stance, breathing, delivery etc., at a very early age and continues to implement this at every recording session. He attended the University of Albuquerque's excellent Communications program, and has participated in many, many speech, and voice over workshops and classes. Joseph is a firm believer in training and learning as much as possible about this fascinating business.
