As a DJ, I was require to make an ad sound natural, at times even on the fly. I could handed something while on the mic, and make it sound as if I had had it in my head the whole time. This ability led to my doing similar work in retail, where I would be asked to do all of the overhead announcements for my department. Often with no prep time.
I received top scores on my GED in 1986. After that I went on to be a nightclub DJ for several years. This experience led to me doing store announcements at retail stores for 4 years. On the side, I have been a lead singer for several rock bands over the years.

I have had extensive training in public speaking for over thirty years, involving large groups as well as small gatherings. This training has given me the ability to think on my feet, adapt, improvise and adjust my speaking abilities to any given situation, while remaining natural and conversational even in pressure situations.
