Voice Description

From 15 years as a D.J. speaking live, the hard sell is quite natural for me. I also worked on the radio for about 2 years, so i can change my voice accordingly. I offer a range from fun and cheerful to the deep "movie voice" plus a very guy next door relaxed and natural voice for narration. i can also be smooth and soft or excited and full of energy if needed. If character voices are required i do many well known and characters i have created. Also i do impressions and voices just made up to fit the read. Cartoons ranging from child around 10 or so, to parents, to young teen, or Sci-Fi as well.

Crazy Scottsman old or young, New York,New Jersey, Bostonian esspecially from Southy. Funny Mid West, southern from West Virginia right through to New Orleans and Dallas. Being from Canada it wouldn't be right if i couldn't do Typical Canadian Eh? There's also the silly Swedish male, Firm angry German.

My Voice Experience

I started in this crazy world when i was 13 and got my hands on a pair of turntables. I was hooked. I've always enjoyed speaking into a microphone. After high school i went on to working in bars so i had to be witty and learn to change my voice. I have always enjoyed copying voices so it's kind of like learning to play an instrument by ear. I worked in radio for a while where i learned production and also got my start in doing commercials. While there i did just about every type of commercial read you can do. I worked in a bar as a D.J. for a few more years and now have decided to put all the things i have learned with my voice to good work and start a real voice-over career. I am very dedicated to being professional in every way and offering the best possible product i can.
