I have been working in radio for over a decade, and actually got my start while working as a clown at a grocery store produce tent sale. Honestly. The local radio guy came over to interview people, and decided the clowns were a good idea. He interviewed me, told me I had a good voice, and convinced me to stop by and cut a voiceover audition tape. I did, and two days later, had a radio job.
Over a decade later, I'm still here. I have a board shift, and do the bulk of commercial writing and recording at the three stations housed in this building.
I have a diploma in Broadcasting from Northland Community and Technical College, earned under the overly picky yet fatherly eye of Mr. Howard Rokke.
Although it has nothing really to do with my vocal career, I did appear on "Who wants To Be A Millionaire." I was terrified, but still won a good chunk.
I also, in my spare time, DJ dances. I am often recruited to be MC of things. And I write a lot (roughly 7.2 million per week) a lot of ads.
Would absolutely love to do narration for documentaries or video games, and books on tape.
