Voice Description

My voice is primarily that of a college-age male, but as my voice is deep I can easily come off as a middle-aged man without sounding unnatural. My voice has often been described by others as rich and warm, and it sounds great with full-rounded mics. I do, however, have a dynamic range, and can get my voice high enough to even do a convincing Mickey Mouse impersonation- and many pitches in between. My default accent is American English, and is very neutral in that regard.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can do several accents, including Irish, British English, Australian, and even some cartoonish accents, including Pirate, Old Gentlement, Mickey Mouse, Shaggy Doo, and others. I am experienced in imitating voices that I hear, so it is easy for me to match a voice if a sample is provided.

My Voice Experience

I am currently in training with Edge Studio and on my way toward a completed professional demo tape. I have had some non-paid jobs in fandubs of various cartoons and projects, but I have not booked a professional job yet.

My Training

I am currently an undergraduate student at New York University studying The Entertainment Business and Art. For voice over training, I am a current student of Edge Studio in New York, where I am a part of the ABC Program which will culminate with the production of my professional demo tape.

My Studio Equipment

Currently I am using a Blue Snowball USB Microphone inside a homemade soundbox. I run my recording through Audactiy at 44100khz and export finished recordings as .wav files for maximum quality.

Additional Skills

I have a basic understanding of Japanese (I studied for credit at NYU), and my pronunciation is proficient, so if a script needs to be read in Japanese and romaji is provided, I can give a good read for it. I am also knowledgeable about the entertainment industry as a whole, including the roles and relationships between managers, agents, unions, and other key figures in the entertainment business.
