Voice Description
I have a very warm and welcoming voice, one you can trust, it's like a friend or neighbor. Good for narations, commercials, on hold recordings. For commercials we go to a upbeat delivery, and a more proffessinal delivery for narrations and professional speaking. But always genuine, with a smile or a note of caring.

My Voice Experience
21 years of broadcasting has taken me from Minot ND to Lancaster CA and now back to CO. I have worked just about every format...even sports. Have been the news person several times, and always the go to person for emergency situations, when you need someone calm and informative. In addition to probably hundreds of commercials, I also have extensive experience with 'on hold' messages and voice mail greetings for a variety of clients. I have also been mistress of ceramonies for a large variety of State, City and Charity events.
My Training
I learned to control the pitch of my voice as a kid. My Dad had some pitches that he couldn't hear so well, and yah, my voice and mom's fell right in there, only with mom it might have been selective.....
Went to broadcasting school in Austin Mn. Most of what I do is natural, or things I have picked up on the job. I did attend a 'Breaking in Voice Over' seminar with Elizabeth Sabine. Beyond that it's just knowing you can say the same 4 words, 5 different ways and playing with the inflections and such, to find what works.

Additional Skills
I'm a farmers daughter. No hidden agenda, no hidden motives. Just good ol salt of the earth. I was blessed with this voice and given the skills to use it. At the end of the day I know I have done the best I possibly could, and I hope it's what you heard when you wrote it.
