My Voice Experience
My voice has been heard on many different avenues over the last decade from theater to radio and radio spots to instructional and training videos.
I started in theater at a very early age performing 2 - 3 shows a year until my late teens. It was in 1999 when I finally started my vocal career getting a job at WLVJ 640AM. There, I voiced the daily local weather and the occasional PSA.
Over the next few years I performed in and voiced several student films. It was then that I developed my love for the camera and transitioned into TV. In 2001, I enlisted in the US ARMY as a Broadcast Journalist. In the ARMY I did it all. I tracked voicers for local and national spots, produced and tracked TV news packages, and narrated instructional and training videos. I also became my division's narrator for all military presentations, earning myself the title, "The Voice of COSCOM".
I left the ARMY in November 2005 and briefly jumped back into radio. I held an internship at Metro Traffic where I provided on-air early morning traffic updates to a variety of area radio stations and also interned at WJNO 1290AM.
Since then, I have lent my voice to several avenues. At my church, I have narrated several seasonal dramatizations and currently serve as a lector. I have also voiced several answering service messages to private companies and individuals.
Currently I work at the local CBS affiliate.
