My Voice Experience

I took four years of choir in high school, two of which were spent in Madrigals, the top choir. I sang tenor for the first two years and bass as a Madrigal. Through choir, I gained experience with the use of tone inflection and dynamics, so I understand that there are subtle changes in technique that can and should be employed for different voice requirements.

My Training

I am a very musical person. I've played piano for seven years now and I'm going for a major in music, which I will use to become a film score composer. I think that musical people understand quite well the influence that sounds can have on the media, including music, voice, and sound effects. I can play by ear very well, so it will be easy to understand costumer instructions and replicate the voice idea they have in mind.

Additional Skills

I love to read. I get lost in the world of language. I also love reading to my nieces, which may help in doing voice recordings for books on tape. I plan on getting a minor in English. I would love to write children's books as a side career. I am fluent in English as well as the language of music, both of which I believe qualify me for work as a voice artist.
