I consider myself a voice actor and am able to sound like a southerner(Georgia,North Carolina) and Western twang(Texas), the accent and dialect of the Eastern Shore of Maryland (waterman),Irish,Scottish,German,Swedish, British,French,Italian,Hispanic,Russian and New Yorker.There are many animal sounds such as a dog(large and small),cat,Howler monkey,Turkey,Chimpanzee,bear, elephant,horse,bull(cow),snake . I am able sound like cartoon characters or a cartoon type voice.

My Voice Experience

I had done voice over recordings for the government under the company name of Sonority Recordings. I did trainings film voiceovers for recruits, dealing with hygiene issues. This was done in the Rockville Maryland area. I did many narratives for local churches in the Salisbury Maryland area involving Christmas plays or celebrations. Additionally, I sang with the local choral society and the Baltimore Brass Quintet as the lead second Bass for a professional presentation of Handles Messiah at the Civic Center in Salisbury Maryland in 1986. I have worked at three different radio stations with different types of music for more than 11 years. These ranged from Country to easy listening to Gospel. During this time I did voice acting for local commercials to promote a product.I have spoken for many groups professionally,presenting products or informational overviews.

My Training

I have 3 years of professional voice training at Salisbury University and while working at three different radio stations, I did news, commercials and their writings and interviews on live radio. I developed an all night crisis hotline as a counselor where I had to play music and at times speak with individuals who needed psychological counseling or emotional support. Similar to the Dr. Phil conversations. I participated in voice overs for a company called Sonority Recordings in the 70's for the government for recruitment training in Rockville, Maryland. I sang as the lead second base along with the Baltimore Brass Quintet in 1986.

Many people make claims, stating they are able to adapt to many different situations, but I truly am able to fit into various types of setting and feeling comfortable doing it. This is a challenge that is always enjoyable. Whether speaking with youth or the elderly and anyone in between.I am well read with interests in politics,medical terminology,science and local interests. I believe my maturity and confidence in who I am and what I am able to accomplish goes a long way. I also know when to defer to those who are in authority with respect and grace.
