I possess a clear, rounded vocal timbre capable of a wide range of tone and style. My warm, deep, and resonant tones are ideal for smooth, professional narrations and presentations, as well as commercials and promos requiring a "warm-sell", serious, or intense approach. I can easily transition to vibrant, bright, or crisp tones suitable for commercials that need a fun and energetic quality, as well as the powerful projection of an announcer if necessary.

My Voice Experience

I originally started in radio broadcasting at the age of 17 as a disc jockey in my hometown of Huntington, WV. There I was able to refine my skills behind the microphone, and also started lending my talents to local advertisements and public service announcements.

Aside from my previous broadcasting experience I have also actively pursued music; the vocal training I have received through the years has augmented my unique speaking voice in many ways, giving me a flexible and diverse palette of vocal nuances that have served to aide my abilities in voice-over performance.

I now have over 11 years experience with voice-overs and general audio production for cable television and radio, narration, and copywriting.

My Training

I am mostly self-taught, having acquired intimate experience with several regional American accents and dialects due to frequent relocation as a child. My old program director, the late Geoff Sturm, helped to refine my on-air voice.
