This is my first venture into voice over work. I consider the radio theater and reader theater work I have done good training for voice over. I have sung jingles with my band for many years....ala "Bryl Cream, a little dab'l do ya, Bryl Cream, Ya look so debonaire." I remember the tune that went with it. I would love to submit auditions for any project involving singing.
I have a degree from Montana State University in Architecture. Classes after college have included art, creative writing, geology, computer software (many). I have performed in opera productions in major and minor roles, such as La Boheme, Lucia, Tosca, I pagliacci, Ballad of Baby Doe, Sweeney Todd, Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma, South Pacific, Student Prince, Carmen, Porgy & Bess, many others. Most recently, played on a cd version of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, titled "Victor", by Don Caron. I sang the part of the ship's captain. I can send a copy of this, if needed.
I have done some journalism, articles in my A.I.A.chapter bulletin, poetry. Working now on a novel based loosely on my own life, the concept being that all our lives are built and based on Big Events, with little events leading up to and down from those.
Not very knowledgeable on equipment. I have performed on it, but never became an operator.
I am a sketch artist, interested in faces and the human body.
I work on Autocad software "...all de liv long day" producing commercial architecture, and have worked for myself for thirty years in this endeavor. I entered the field because I love to draw. Now the pencil is still and the mouse scoots around my desk, a poor substitute for the feel of pencil on page.
