Voice Description
A soulful voice that can be unquestionably authoritative or so friendly, it could wheedle people into nearly anything. I'm from the south, so a slight twang slips when I let it. A huge point of strength would be my voice's depth; Around the James Earl Jones level, ready to sound like God.
I'm comfortable with a variety of accents and have tested them out at work on the more boring nights. They include: General British, Irish, Scottish, Indian, Canadian, General Hispanic, exaggerated Mexican, African, and Austrialian. I also have studied Japanese language, and while I am not fluent, I believe, with practice of the material, I could record in Japanese convincingly.
I also have a great deal of fun with different American dialects: Southern, Wisconsin/Minnasota, and Cajun. I have a trademark character with my friends; Mordecai: The fat, black Cajun. A large, friendly man, with an infectious belly laugh.

My Voice Experience
-Featured on the phone systems/hold messages for Napster.
While I have not had any professional voice over/acting experience, I have worked in technical support for about 3 years. Besides gettings me very comfortable and capable with using my voice a lot, it was every other customers who told me I should be on the radio (or just plain thinking I was still the recording) that convinced me to try my hand at it.
My voice is a huge asset when talking to customers, especially about technical issues. It helps the customer know that they're in good hands, that I know exactly what I'm doing. It also works wonders with extremely frustrated customers, easily soothing them back into a state where they can work with me. Finally, as I am not a technical supervisor, it helps me speak to my voiceover agents and customers with the authority the position entails.
I have had prior acting experience. While nothing big, I'm not half-bad and am eager to get a shot at something that brings me back into it with my strongest feature. I'd love to try an audiobook or voice-overs for an animated character.
