Voice Description
My voice can range from deep and throaty to mild and meek. I can control speed, depth, and pitch. I can also do a poor, but recognizeable Katherine Hepburn impression (for laughs!). Interestingly, when I answer the phone, my voice automatically drops a third octave. Yet I can control that when needed. I also have a few "characters" I've invented (Festus, Bo Pukins)I like to play with.

My Voice Experience
Besides doing voice-mail recordings for Remington's Seafood Grill (Addison, TX) and Huang, Ngyuan, and Tran Law Offices of Fort Worth, TX. My show is on Saturdays from 6 PM central to 10 PM. It is called "The Smokin' Jim Show." Listen in sometime! I play 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's music and have regular guests (such as Foriegn Lori with the Way out, Wacky news!), Rockin' Rachel with stories about her dumb baby, and anyone I can get to talk to the world! It's all for fun and fun for me!
My Training
Actually I have never had any professional training. I acted a bit in high school (who hasn't?), and being from the New York City area I was lucky enough to be exposed to a lot of theater and actors who loved to give advice. I have developed my own style and also think it will be of use.

Additional Skills
I am not afraid to be a little controversial, or maybe racey or a little "over the top" perhaps in subject matter. But I must draw the line at anything that is of the "Jerry Springer" type of banter. So for example it would have to be a Hell of a lot of pay to get me to do a "Girls Gone Wild Video" voice over pitch.
