My Voice Experience

It all started with radio when I was a child and asked to record a tag and also sing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." From there, I was hired to record incoming voicemail messages for employees at various companies. Once they asked me to record it in a very sexy voice for the engineering department of an airline! Recorded the IVR for a Business eZine company. Recorded intros to infomercials for a church and educational videos. Then, took a pause in voice acting. Now I have my own home studio, which makes it much easier to record, edit, and turn-out quality work quickly and easily...and I LOVE it!

My Training

I have a bachelors degree in Business, and finishing my MBA, but neither were related to the Voice Over industry.

I've attended several workshops in the Dallas area. I'm currently working with my Coach, Vanessa Hart.

My Studio Equipment

My husband was a Professional Audio Engineer until a few years ago. (He's a programmer and trainer now) Therefore, I left the studio set-up to him. Why not? :o)

We have a 2011 MacMini (4GB RAM), Professional Audio Editing Software, Professional Audio Microphones, a voice room, and an editing room.

Additional Skills

Since I was a child, I was involved in acting...just not acting-up. It has always been fun to put character voices when reading children's books and young-adult books. Putting nuances to words to help carry the listener away with you, has always been a natural talent of mine.

In the business world, I was often asked to explain things on the phone. I had to help them fill out forms, get directions, put something together, all without being able to see me. Details on, even the smallest of words, helped the listener successfully comprehend and complete their task. Soothing, humorous, professional, confident tones and inflections all make for a successful project for the listener.

Quality work is the only thing I produce. I want to work with you again and again, so you're not going to get anything less than the best from me. My hope is that you would be so pleased that you would refer me to your colleagues and friends.
