Voice Description

I have a degree in Vocal Performance and a great deal of experience in live and recorded voice over work. My speaking voice is very flexible and can be sexy, soft and sultry, or more rounded, smooth and professional for both commercial and narrative work. I have a great variety of character voices within many age levels and accents which are great for commercials, voice mail greetings, audio books, internet and video games as well as many other venues. My favorite accents are: New Yorker, New Englander, Italian, French, British, and Southerner. I have studied for many years Italian, French and German. I have the ability to read and sing these languages clearly with proper diction. As a singer, my degree is in Operatic Performance, and I am classified as a Dramatic Soprano. I also sing Jazz, Soft Rock, Pop, Blues, R&B, and Country.

My Voice Experience

At the age of 14 I was chosen out of 50 singers in the US to sing on a good will tour in Europe. I have been singing my entire life and subsequently received my Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Performance from Boston Conservatory of Music. While in college I performed on weekends with a dance/cover band, traveling throughout the Northeastern part of the US map. After college, I performed for approx. 8 years on tour throughout the US, Virgin Islands, South America, and Southern Carribbean. During this time, I had worked with two different recording studios recording cover songs which were used on Karaoke CD's. I have sung numerous jingles throughout the U.S., and have provided many live narrations in both English and French for Paquet Cruiselines, and Rengency Cruiselines as an Entertainer/Staff member in the late 80's. My voice over experiences include automated phone answering systems, personalized voice mail greetings (some professional, some with character voices), radio commercials, books on tape, travel destination narrations.

I also work as a Classical Voice Teacher, Vocal Coach, and Performance Teacher. I not only teach singing lessons, but also performance techniques, and public speaking.
