My Voice Experience

I have worked as a children's librarian for 5 years. My main responsibility has been to choose and read appropriate books to school-age children in grades K-5. That translates to reading (or telling) a story 12 times each week to a variety of audiences. Children and adults have told me they love my stories and I love sharing them.

My Training

I have a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. I am a member of the Lansing Storytellers and have attended several workshops on storytelling.

My Studio Equipment

I do not have any recording equipment.

Additional Skills

I am mostly interested in recording books on CD or mp3 - especially for children and teens. I think a love of reading is fostered by exposing kids to good literature read with passion and lively expression and I would love to be a part of promoting that.
