Voice Description

I have a very clear, sexy, confident, convincing voice. For narrations, I offer a very warm, deep, yet matter-of-fact delivery. I am like your best friend telling you how something should be fixed, you can trust my voice.

I also can do a sexy, romantic delivery for commercials; say for a new night club, or a jazz concert. I can be very upbeat and offer a hard sell that would be ideal for car commercials, or any company wanting to promote an upcoming event.

I have worked many years in the food service and retail industry, particularly retail grocery and retail clothing. I have sold products with my voice all my life. I can be over the top, and love doing those "everything must be sold!" type commercials. I also love the "over the top" delivery (Think Jim Carrey).

I offer warmth, romance, and a cosmopolitan sound that is as right for the educated, city dweller and Wall Street type, as it is perfect for anyone who responds to a friendly, upbeat, and convincing voice.

I also would be ideal for recorded messages, on hold messages, voice mail greetings, cooporate presentations, or any other field that requires an accent free, proffessional sound.

My Voice Experience

As a kid in high school I published my own newspaper. Frequently we had fund-raising events that required a message to be played during morning announcements. I was always the guy promoting the upcoming concert, raffle, or bake sale on the loud speaker.

I have done promotions for running sales over the intercom at my job at Shaws supermarkets, telling valued customers how they can save and what is on sale.

I was a guest on the Jordan Rich Show which airs on WBZ radio here in Boston. I am a seafood expert; I fielded questions from callers and talked and joked easily with Mr. Rich creating a very entertaining hour of radio.

While I have not recorded anything proffessionally for a company yet, I have worked in the retail sector for some years. Most recently I have sold seafood in the ultra affluent section of downtown Boston. I deal with tourists from other countries as well as local clients. I am considered to be the top sales person in my department and my warm, friendly, yet commanding voice is always mentioned and complimented. Selling seafood requires you to gain the customers trust, and to be knowledgable in all aspects of the industry. I am always able to convey short, precise facts.

I have also sold ladies shoes for high end retailers like Boston's Lord & Taylor. Much of what determines whether a woman will trust a male shoe salesman is the delivery in my voice, and my ability to put the customer at ease and flatter them at the same time.

My Training

I am a graduate of a voice over course taught by Mr. Jordan Rich, a radio talk show host, voice talent, and head of Chart Productions in Boston. I have been trained in commercials and narrations, voice acting, tone, pitch and all aspects of voice-overs. The culmination of the class was the production of my own demo with commercials and narrations written for me by Jordan Rich and produced by Chart Productions.

In high school, and grade school, I did a lot of acting, singing, and published my own newspaper that featured a coulumn written by me. My singing reached its zenith when I made All-State choir my senior year of high school. I continued singing in college. I was always invloved with performing arts.

Additional Skills

Growing up I was always told by others what a clear speaking voice I had. In high school I made campaign announcements for students running for student office, and began to use my clear voice to train birds how to talk at an early age.

I have always enjoyed reading out loud to others, dramatic readings, as well as plays and musicals.

My years of experience in retail and in life itself has taught me just how important a good voice is. You can trust my voice.
