Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Having studied the French language throughout university, I am quite capable of achieving a more natural french accent, contrary to the often stereotypical and saturated characteristics of the Americanized Hollywood version. I am also very comfortable utilizing a fairly prominent English accent, as well as a more regionally-specific Middlesex accent. I enjoy imitating several actors, including Alan Arkin and Heath Ledger.

My Voice Experience

I've always enjoyed establishing my own voice characters, as well as imitating the vocal characteristics of various cinematic personalities. Often times, I will interweave mouth percussion and other vocal sound effects as a way of creating an aural landscape that will hopefully further conjure up images of a specific persona, both real and imaginary. Although I wish I could say that I've had a remarkable amount of industry experience, my work has mostly been reserved to private projects for close associates and jokes between friends.

My Training

Having studied piano since the age of five, I also took private percussion lessons and was a member of the percussion ensemble throughout high school. Towards the end of high school, I began working with production software and synthesizers, eventually achieving a B.A. in Communications and Media from Fordham University in New York City. Before I attend the Berklee College of Music next Spring, I will continue to record film showtimes for the automated phone line of a nearby movie theater, as well as lend my voice to community radio broadcasts.
