My Voice Experience
Well my experience started with a place called Southern California Edison Power Plant in Nevada. I was just your average joe when I started there and was hired for an administrative job. I soon found out that they had their own in-house T.V. station for the power plant. Well my immiediate supervisor happened to be the host of the broadcast. I then told her about my awsome computer and voice skills. Well making a long story short... She gave me a chance and I then took over the whole show, from Graphics to weather to running the switcher and hosting the show... The power plant unfourtunately closed down due to state air regulations and the exhuast the plant was producing...I then took my talent to a local TV station (TV2 KLBC) and really became a professional as a WHOLE. I did many many commercials and voice overs while working there. From smooth soft Elegant Fine Dinning commercials to very energetic Off-Road Racing ones, and many in-between. I was an on-air personality for an one hour morning show 5 days a week... I am capable of producing, editing, camera, voice over, mixing etc.... everything involved in making a commercial/media production. I have been doing voice work as my second job since 2005. So therefore I am more than ready to advance myself into a bigger aspect of this industry.
My Training
While I was working at the T.V. station in Nevada (TV2 KLBC). Let me start first by saying that it was a very small staffed station. Consisted of 3 control room guys 3 news reporters and 2 moring show hosts...That was it for the whole building other than 2 administrative people. So everyone helped each other get better. They would sit and have voice training for days at a time and of course a little everyday, so the training was there and I of course took advantage of it, I would say I still need some type of college degree just to have for that personal gratification and better job opportunities in the future.
