Voice Description
My voice is that of a baritone from years of being in theater. Since I am a minister of two churches, public speaking has been my vocation. I can deliver a serious, authoritative sound for business presentations or Bible recordings. After years in the theater, I have developed a large library of impersonations of famous celebrities, select singers, everyman and cartoon character voices. If a hear a voice or dialect, I can usually duplicate it with a strong degree of accuracy.
Commerical voices can be serious, comic or ethnic.
My years of theater experience have equipped me with a vast range of emotions and characterizations that I can communicate as a voice actor, which is ideal for children's stories, novels, radio drama or any voice acting.

My Voice Experience
I had performed two-act, one-man plays that required me to switch voices and characterizations back and forth within seconds of each other before a live audience. In this process, I had to develop a consistency where even if the character was expressing different emotions with their voice, the audience could easily identify which character I was portraying. The production included 15 different characterizations, all expressing various range of emotion.
I have also read to children in school reading programs, highlighting character voices with which they were familiar. The response from the children was delightful.
Having been in theater for most of my life, I have learned the importance of voice talent in conveying thoughts, character and emotions. Now in my current work as a minister, I know what importance the voice has in effectively communicating to a congregation.
I have also been a retail manager and understand the importance of professionalism in working with customers. I can appreciate the need for voice talent for phone recordings or voice mail greetings where a professional, sincere and courteous manner is conveyed.
My Training
My background in the theater provided the necessary training for voice work, since so much of your character is expressed through your voice. Having premiered theater compositions of my own, I had to work with other actors in the recording of the soundtracks. I have provided voice overs for other theatrical recordings by other songwriters.
