Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am not the best at accents BUT I can do impersonations very good, I read many books and listen to many book on tapes and can perform characters in different voices with different dialects.

My Voice Experience

I am currently a radio personality in Grand Rapids, Michigan, my show is full time so I am on air Monday thru Friday 7pm to Midnight as well as 10am to 3pm on Saturday. I do promos and commercials on a regular basis for my station as well as our sister stations. Promos include everything from "Edward Rose Apartments" to "The Intersections Heavy Metal Battle of the Bands".

My Training

I have a bachelors degree in applied speech communication I have taken many classes in audio and audio editing. Through out high school and college I have performed in many plays and musicals, my most recent performances include the infamous Velma Vontussel in "Hairspray" and a spotlight monologue in "The Vagina Monologues." I have a certification in Journalism from Ferris State University. I also am the current host of Ferris State's edition of "Entertainment News" which airs on our local hour on FOX 32 every Thursday. I have some singing experience from solo songs in various musicals to recording music for our Music Industry Management program at Ferris State. I also interned for the syndicated morning radio show, Free Beer and Hot Wings, where I developed my own podcast show interviewing young adult authors.

My Studio Equipment

I have full access to the studio at my radio station which is part of a top 60 market in the U.S., we have all the necessities to create commercials, and promo's along with a vast selection of music for any commercial, audio book, promo or recorded telephone interviews.

Additional Skills

I have a very good understanding of audio and editing, and know the ins and outs of radio. I have worked many remote broadcast where I have had to come up with material at sometimes the last minute so I am quick on my feet.
