My Voice Experience

Jackie Cocking is a bright professional talent who is ready to do the job. With a warm and natural voice, she brings her world experience to the table. Jackie holds a degree in Broadcast Communications from Bethany College, Bethany, WV. At a small college, Jackie was able to step in to the radio and television studio immediately, working as on-air talent as well as production and technical work. To supplement her studies, Jackie spent two semesters abroad. The first, was part of the Washington Semester Journalism Program at the American University in Washington, DC. The second was spent studying French at the Sorbonne in Paris.

Jackie has spent much of her professional career in Sports Marketing and Advertising, working for Varsity Communications in Seattle. An opportunity to live abroad led Jackie and her family to live in Istanbul, Turkey for a year.

Returning to the US, Jackie decided to revisit her roots in broadcasting. Training with Such A Voice in Burlington, VT, Jackie draws not only on her broadcast experience to exceed expectations in the voice-over industry, but on travel, work and family life lessons as well.
