Voice Description
My voice is a bass, but not especially deep. I can make it sound high to sound like a kid or other, and I can make it sound even deeper to sound old or menacing or with a varied context for characters (I can also sound awkward or nervous for characters very well too). I'm also adept at sounding energetic and fun for commercials, and smooth for more specific purposes. And for narration work, radio voices, I can put on a variety of accents if need be, or just with my regular speaking voice being deep enough for a 'commanding' presence. But more than anything I'm great at imitations, and I can try just about anything.

My Voice Experience
I've had a few acting parts here and there, but the most I've done in specific voice work was in the parts I gave myself- and other parts I played- in short films I or friends directed. But the sort of fooling around for those (in one I put on a Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger imitation, in another Christopher Walken, and another as the Russian from Rocky 4) comes out of my natural ability for imitation, and a self-taught knack for photographic memory. When I was younger I could recite the entire monologue in Austin Powers that Dr. Evil gives about his childhood. I've used imitations of side characters from Star Wars to get out of bullies at school. I always spring up something random from pop culture or political figures to amuse friends and family. Unfortunately, I've yet to go full-on professionally into this.
My Training
In college I took classes on Acting Improvisation and Acting for the Camera, and Public Speaking, all in Communications.

Additional Skills
I hope to be as expressive, fun, open-minded and creative, as I can be in any jobs that I can get. Even if it's just one line, or it's a full spot or a main part in something, I want to give it my all. I hope someday to be a professional filmmaker, so I'm always interested in all kinds of performance art, acting, voice-overs, et all, and I think that working with the actors I have already on amateur productions has given me some insight into what's there to be done in using the voice. I'm always attentive, as a director, to behavior and tone and pitch and mood, and I want to pay that same dedication to voice work.
