Voice Description

I had some stage training as a teenager and learned to project in order to maximize volume. My voice is rich, deep and smooth and is suitable for a number of different types of recordings including documentaries, commercial voice overs, promotional adevertisements, etc. My extensive background in marketing also allows me to work with the copy if required.

My voice has an average range, but my projection allows me to increase volume with no loss in depth. I can project any octave in my range to a loud (not a shout) volume and I can whisper in the same.

In the course of my career, I have presented to large groups. I have excellent literacy skills and which could be an advantage in terms of writing, proofing, etc.

My Training

I am a writer and have excelled in condensing volumes of clinical data to a 10-15 page summary to be distributed to both clinical and business people. I spent two years in the journalism program at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. I know how to communicate clearly and consisely.

I acted in a number of theatrical productions in my teens. This is where I developed my voice skills.

I have in-depth knowledge of business, particularly the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. I am familiar with diseases and disease processes as well as potential solutions (e.g., medications).
